'Teaching is learning twice'
naar Joseph Joubert
Teacher of Teachers
In my professional life, my focus has been on teacher educators. The aim of my educational research is both to support the practice of teacher educators and to contribute to the knowledge about the role and professional development of teacher educators. The development of a knowledge base of teacher educators, the development of programs for teacher educators, and the development of trajectories to support self-study research, are examples of projects I have contributed to. My conviction and experience is that we need to work across international boundaries to make progress and be productive.
In an extensive interview with dr. Gang Zhu I have explained and underpinned my work. I feel that this interview offers a rich overview of my professional work. You can read the English version of the interview here. The interview has been published in the Chinese journal Teacher Development Research, June 2023.

Some more examples of my work can be found on the page Opleider of Opleiders (partly in English, partly in Dutch). On the page Publications you will find an overview of my published research work. Several can be consulted at Reseachgate. My Curriculum Vitae is added at the page CV.
